This is one of my FAVORITE topics as it pertains to alien encounters and abduction stories. This is from the Danny Jones podcast where he interview Mike Clelland. Screen memories is when the aliens alter a persons perception or memory of event. Aliens will often use owls as a screen memory. I have also heard of ufo witnesses remembering a hot air balloon as opposed to a ufo.
